It was kind of a corny poem you know? But I liked it. So in my poetry yesterday I was learning about titles and how they work with the poem and I read a poem called Dream? It was really cool. And then I had to write a poem. They gave me several choices on what to write it on but the one I chose was: A. Write a poem that is hard to understand without the title. Maybe my poem is pretty easy to understand. It’s not really deep or anything and you can rhyme just about anything with ‘ing’. So here’s the title: Neighborhood
Here are the last two lines. I made another one up this morning. Be warned. Its rather cheesy. I couldn’t find anything good that rhymed with neighborhood:
These are the sounds of a Neighborhood. Some are bad and some are good.
Hear them well or hear them not. But I will hear them, it’s all I got(have). 😀
Maybe the last line was…different but… I liked my poem. No one should contradict me in this. You eventually hear anyone of those sounds or see those actions in a neighborhood. But right now it is quite outside and I need to get to work. Does anyone have any inspirations for a new poem?

GREAT poem Kelly. The last two lines were just great. It was a fun poem (especially the part about “got” — that is what is called artistic lisence)!
Kelly
Thank you, thank you everyone. No,no, don’t stand up! It was nothing really. No I’m not great, you’re great! Well, I do my best. Oh my, I am truly honored. What’s that? Oh, modesty? Posh. (says the smiling blushing gracious head nodding Kelly)

Hey Dad! I liked what you did to the home page!

Dad, on Sharpdevelop, When creating windows forms, Is there a designer that isn’t just hard code but a little more visual with more of a “click and drag” interface? And if there isn’t is there possibly ANY way I can do this without compiling my app every single time I move a button a pixel?
Christian
Like in Microsoft Visual C#?
Christian
Can we pleeease make the home page look friendlier?
Dad
We can, but I want to be systematic about it and use Nvu after I get home. Christian–yes there is a gui builder, but it might be better to switch back to Microsoft if you know it a lot better.
Kelly
Dad, the classes are fine. The book was written for sharp develop, so I am learning what is different and what is not. Pretty much all of the classes I want to use are explained in this book. Plus, on the help index on sharpdevelop, there is a big section in the contents that explains all of the classes in the class library I think. And also, you said that Express Visual Studio had a very small class library.
The book even tells you that nobody with any common sense would choose to buy all of the Visual C# stuff if you just want to do little freeware programs for fun.
Is there any way to edit a form visually with just an addon of some kind?
We already have Nvu.

for a very friendly home page… might I humbly suggest… GET A MAC!

I rest my case.
Christian
What in the world does that have to do with a mac?
Bryan Joyce
Good question Christian! My response was triggered by your desire to have your “home page look friendlier”. My son Brad, who is also a ‘Mac Man’ (someone who uses a Macintosh computer, made by Apple, Inc.), created his website using software that comes with a Macintosh computer. (see http://www.apple.com ) That’s the short answer, but really there is much more to it then just that.
Dad
I knew this internet thing was dangerous! You really have to be aware of the evil influences in these chat forums. 🙂 Actually, they have a very impressive web page. I put it in my favorites. They need to write in their blog more often!
Christian
We DO have an ipod.
