"In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." –John 16:33

Official!

Day 314 of 1000

Kelly and Christian NCSU IDI remember when I got my first ID card at Oregon State. It was bright orange and I was quite proud. I think I still have it around here somewhere. I need to put an image of it up here for posterity. It made me feel official. Well, now that Kelly and Christian have been to school for two days AND they have their ID cards, I guess they are official now, too.

We have not figured the transportation thing out.  We have too many drivers and not enough cars.  Our current game plan includes taking the bus home part of the time.  We have not tried that out yet, but Christian has been poring over the bus routes and has it pretty well figured out.  We will see how that goes.  Eventually we are going to have to break down and buy another car.  Maybe that was a poor choice of words.

  1. Muchas felicidades Kelly y Christian!!!

Yes, Ken, you may “break down” when you face the cost of the additional buggy. :-). Always Great to get a read of your family activities. We’re just getting started again in our field after the best-ever special meetings here in Chile!

We absolutely have it as a highest priority to visit Chile. We would love to be there for convention if it is not too crowded. What a wonderful place. As for the cars, I understand the double-meaning of breakdown when it comes to cars and teenagers!

Oh, definitely you’d have to be here at least part of your time for a conv or two. Ideally it’d be the last part of December–our convs are all the month of Dec, and end the end of the year–then we could have a bit of time together afterward, if it works out, to show you around a bit, possibly.

Wow! That would be awesome. We are planning NOW! We will stay in touch on this.
