Last night, before and after our bible study, I spent the time to get our Linux computer up and running. It was amazingly easy. I installed the Fedora Core 2 version of linux and setup up a dialup connection to the internet. I even set up the Gaim chat software so we can talk to Laurin and Rigo. I tried to get the Ogle DVD software to work, too and I got it partially right, but something is missing because I can hear the sound, but not see the picture. I am using the Yum updater/installer software and it is just awesome.
With the bible study and the computer going on last night, we really did not get much else done. Steve Meyer’s folks were out from Louisiana and his mom had made an excellent desert that we all ate after meeting.
