Kelly came down from Seattle for a weekend of homework with Dad. She has not even been gone a year yet and it seems like it has been forever. From the time the kids entered Community College five years ago until they left home last summer we spent at least half of our weekends at the library studying. When the kids were at Wake Technical Community College, we usually went to the Hill Library at NCSU. Then, when the fabulous new Hunt Library was completed shortly after the kids entered NCSU their Junior year, we went there.
So, I have to admit I got a little nostalgic. We listened to Enya and classical music while Kelly did literature reviews and I worked on my latest programming project. I hope to be able to do it again soon, but this time maybe it will be up in Seattle.

Hi Ken,
Wow…I cannot believe how grown up Kelly and Christian are! Do you remember us, the Liljequists, who are your neighbors in Cornelius? Where are you guys now? Please say hi to Lorena and the kids for us. Your kids (especially Kelly) and our daughter, Alyssa, used to play together :). Glad I’ve found your blog here. I’ll come back and read more when I get a chance. I also have blogs: Living for God (my main blog) @http://bornagainandblessed.blogspot.com/ , Fruitbearers (my review blog) @http://fivesavedbygrace.blogspot.com/ , and My Father’s World (my photo blog) @http://wondersbeyondwords.blogspot.com/ . Hope you’ll come visit sometime :)!
