Publishing our blog in a book

Troy and Youngin mentioned on their blog that they have taken to publishing each year of their blog in a book to give as a keepsake for their young daughter Lucia. It is a great idea that I am sad I did not think of first (because it is all about me and I want to get the credit for the idea). Still, even though I am a Johnny Come Lately and have to give the credit for the idea (and implementation to someone else), I have decided I will copy TY&L and I try this out myself. I looked around on the web and found several sites to do this, but Troy sent me one this morning nambed Blurb that looks better than all the ones I found.  I will keep you posted on how it goes and the costs and that sort of stuff.

We’ve been using Blurb too. I’ve printed 2 years worth and am working on this year’s book. It is one of the most user friendly that I found and is very easy to personalize, right down to creating your own page layouts. I love that someday (assuming they stay in business) I can print out one for each kid so they can each have a copy!

    Good luck!

Cool Jeannie! Did you get one of the hardcover versions? It all looks very cool. Hope you guys are doing well. Your kids surely are getting big!

Yes. I did go with the hardcover version (sans the paper jacket thingamajig – I can’t think of the correct term right now…). I like it and am pleased with the quality.

We’re all doing well and the kids are indeed getting big. Logan strung quite a few steps in a row tonight to loud applause and is very pleased with himself. All I know is life is about to get much busier!(:

    Greetings to your family!
