"In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." –John 16:33

A good friend

Last night, in our bible study, we studied Exodus 33 and 34.  It talks about how Moses spoke to God face to face.  There are a good number of people who contribute to this blog we have never met, but feel like we have come to know.  One of best most faithful readers and contributors, Ruthie, left a comment about some very serious health issues with which she is dealing.  Our prayers and thoughts go out to Ruthie and her family.  Please consider her in your prayers, too.

Thank you so very much Lorena. I am being well taken care of and pampered during my recuperation. Our church family has been supplying meals daily and have been taking the boys for play dates, etc, so that they do not get stir crazy…we couldn’t survive without them. God has been merciful and gracious and kind to me and I have seen evidence of His loving care throughout this entire ordeal. My daughters are terrific caregivers and anticipate my every need. It really is reassuring to know that we have reared such kind children and that we have a real and active Body of Christ who love our family and jump into gear when one of us is down.

  3. Ruthie, I’m sorry you’ve not been well of late. I am glad you are being taken care of. Praying for you.

    Lynn
