Christian and Kelly are taking their annual standardized tests today at Calvary Chapel in Corvallis. They take about four hours during which Lorena will be able to do the final studying for her College Algebra class that she takes later this afternoon. I worked at ATS until about 9:30 last night, so I got a little bit of a late start today. Lorena did not think she knew how to get to the kid’s testing location, so I led them there on the way to work. We were about a half an hour early so Lorena went down to McDonalds to get a cup of coffee before the test.

Update: Right after lunch I got an email telling me the CNC Router we ordered will get here around Friday. That is very good news as it will allow me to contribute a little more in the effort to grow Quality Corners. I hope it gets here by then so we can play with it on Saturday. I talked to the kids after they took there standardized tests today, too. The seem to think the did just great. I will report as soon as the test results come to us in the mail.

We got our monthly report for Quality Corners yesterday. It did not look great because we have been buying so many materials as we ramp up to produce our products at a much higher rate. We were all a little discouraged until we reviewed it a little and realized the reason it looks the way it looks is because we are growing so fast. Grandpa Milo is going to fly down to Phoenix tomorrow to talk to OrePac there about some business we lost and would like to eventually get back. We have had some hiccups with them because of miscommunication and turnover at their facitily. We have been jumping through hoops producing stuff for them that is only made by Quality Corners or that only Quality Corners is willing to make in a timely fashion. I think Dad’s trip could go a long way in getting us back on track with them.
