Driving Miss Kelly

Today we have started a regular driving schedule so the kids can get more practice.  I like our driving plan very much.  The main reason I like it is because it involves a lot of driving around looking for a place to by a frozen yogurt.  The kids like driving.  I like sitting and eating frozen yogurt, so it is a win-win for everyone.

No. To be exact, it would be Driving Mr. Ken! You are way too funny! Happy New Year to you and Lorena and the kids. Emma is off with her boyfriend and his parents at a get-together, Mattisse and Shea are with friends till I fetch them at 10pm, and John and I are here with Peyton watching a show and preparing a full Turkey dinner for guests tomorrow (plus the yearly staple on New Year’s Eve, black-eyed peas and collard greens – yum, yum, yum!). I’m gonna be in a food coma tomorrow!

Ha! That is exactly right Ruthie! As for the cooking and eating, I am hoping to eat myself into a torpor myself (again) tomorrow, just to start the New Year right. We are doing ham and the kids are doing the cooking. That is a VERY good plan isn’t it. Hope all you and yours have a great day!
