Hi Ken, so nice to see your blog!
I was talking with Bryan Joyce on facebook last night and he sent me a link, so I checked it out. I will show Lisa this weekend.

I noticed that you are into Ubuntu! I have been a Linux fan for the last year and it is so liberating to work with an open source OS. It seems that the sky is the limit with this stuff!

Perhaps later, I will have to print off a sheet for your recommendation for yearly bible reading.

It seems that you and your family are doing well. What bright kids you have as well! Take care and I look forward to hearing from you. Adam

Thanks for the note, Mark! It is always great to hear about other fathers who are heavily involved in their kids homeschool! I have already checked out your site. What an excellent website! I was planning on reading through the bible chronologically during the next pass, so your note is very timely and very appreciated! I will blogroll you here. Isn't Ruthie great. She comments here pretty often and we have been enjoying that very much.

Hi Ken, I found your blog while tracking back to Ruthie's comment about my site/blog (http://www.everygoodpath.net) on another comment.

On the Bible reading, I have several chronological schedules/plans posted on my site at http://www.everygoodpath.net/FamilyBibleReading. We too are reading through the Bible as a family. We read each night (well try to, with other activities, etc. we average about 5 nights a week). It's taken us about 3 years to read through once. We do sometimes read other Bible sections for short topical studies, but we mainly follow the chronological plan. After we finish this time, I want to start again using this two track plan: http://www.everygoodpath.net/TwoTrackBibleReadingPlan

Stop by the site sometime. As Ruthie said, I am heavily involved with teaching our older kids. Blessings to you, Mark
