It is hard to believe Kelly is no longer a teenager. Lorena and I always remember the beautiful South Florida Sunday morning drive to the hospital in 1994 and the joy of her birth after a long, hard day of labor. She has been a source of great joy ever since. It is hard to believe she will no longer be living with us in just a few short months as she starts a new era in her education, career, and life.
Lorena called and told me Kelly made cookies to take to her friends at NCSU today. And, of course, she dressed in pink.
Happy Birthday Kelly. We love you.
