The kids are playing but Dad is working

We had a great four day break, but now I am back at work.  The only really big thing left on my plate for this year is to reorganize our homeschool schedule based on fluctuating priorities.  There is not much to report.  My big failure was to only get one workout over the four days, but I am taking my workout clothes to work today.  The kids do not have anything until January 4 other than goofing off and a trip to Charlotte (which is also goofing off).

Kids, rest and goof off….and have fun doing it! The girls have some friends over today and the kitchen has turned into a makeshift bakery. The boys are playing basketball and video games, and are the main taste testers of the the edibles being manufactured. We love vacation. I have to think about planning, too, but I will leave that for another day.

We finally found a puzzle to do over the holidays. It was finished today except one missing piece. I removed a couch cushion to reveal the last piece. We made cookies, chocolate dipped spoons, pretzels dipped in chocolate for about six neighbors. Relax, enjoy, laugh, play . . . fun times. Yes we to will have to get to the planning stages but not just yet . . . . . . . . .

Rats. We still have about a third left. We need to finish it tomorrow. We hope you had great holidays!!! We ate to much, but got in some good workouts over the last couple of days and are inspired to keep going!
