Our garage shelves are those green metal monster shelves from Costco. We love them. I never thought of looking at Costco, but that is a great idea. I know what you mean about the big books. We have a ton of big binders and oversize books that are always a hassle. It will be helpful to have that in my mind when we are looking around. My only complaint is that the shelves tend to be a bit short in the length department and so the shelves with the heavier books have fallen sometimes with the heavy usage of kids removing and replacing (shoving)their books on them. They need to manufacture shelves that are true to fit.
