Happy Fourth! Hope you are having a "BLAST"! Refinish something! Sounds like a great idea for a HOT HUMID summer! removing varnish and re-varnishing! Yes, great plan. I am doing well getting rid of stuff. The stuff is going bye bye.

No problem, Ken....I know that you check for comments throughout the day. I had only asked about the moderation because I was wondering about the change and was concerned that you had to do it out of necessity in order to keep only appropriate comments published.

Ruthie. I have been trying to figure out why you are not just accepted automatically and have not been able to see why it is not working. I think it might be that you have to leave an email address. I just wanted you to know that we really appreciate that you read our blog and we are trying to figure it out. It is just that I think that it might be part of the software.

I will let you know what we do with the shelves!

Hey Ruthie. Our garage shelves are those green metal monster shelves from Costco. We love them. I never thought of looking at Costco, but that is a great idea. I know what you mean about the big books. We have a ton of big binders and oversize books that are always a hassle. It will be helpful to have that in my mind when we are looking around.

I bought 2 bookshelves with adjustable shelves from Costco..or was it Sam's...several years ago and it made all the dfference to have the books up. My only complaint is that the shelves tend to be a bit short in the length department and so the shelves with the heavier books have fallen sometimes with the heavy usage of kids removing and replacing (shoving)their books on them. They need to manufacture shelves that are true to fit.
