We really had a wonderful weekend. It was full of parties, sleepovers, swim meets, etc. For the record, Kelly became completely enamored with face painting when we went to the library, Christian got three firsts (100m freestyle, 100m breaststroke, and 100m butterfly) and a second (100m backstroke). Rubix and Kiwi got way out of hand at the party. Here are some pictures. You can click on them to make them big.
Hi Kelly! Very cool face painting….I can see why you like it. I wanted to write and inform you that I was wrong about the way that gumball bowl glued together. You may have already figured this out. The glue I tried to use to hold these together was hot glue, first, and then rubber cement. both were bad choices. What I ended up doing is using Tacky craft glue and glueing first a round piece of felt onto the flowerpot base and then glueing the bowl to that. It worked very well. Now you know. I think I will post this info too.
